deconstruction

deconstruction: to represent the meaning of the word deconstruction as it relates to Tschumi, I was considering the word in the context that he uses it in his writing. I understood his use of the word deconstruction, as a tool to understand a form or object through a system that can break it into pieces to better understand what is occuring. For the original deconstuction image I tried to break down the form, primarily through the exaggeration of tone which represents density or lightness. When we draw for design we use line weights to show hierarchy and differences in structure or form. I also used the sharpen and levels tool to create strong contrasts between the elements in the 2d form.
reinterpret: within the context of deconstruction one of the main emerging new words was reinterpret. The type of deconstruction that informs about an object or form reinterprets it through a new system. I used the tools invert, distort and perspective, to alter the image and give it new understanding. We see three distinct tones which can inform us about what is happening with the depth and the relationship of the interworkings of the form.
conceptualize: (form a concept or idea of something) in this image my intention was to deconstruct and reinterpret using the tools i had been using to communicate those terms and also to grasp a mood idea of the thing being deconstructed to further the ideas. I used, levels, sharpen, invert, and also added difference clouds added wind and difference clouds to exaggerate the lines and movement.
analyze: in the process of deconstruction we first look at the thing and consider and understand to create the new system by which we understand it and communicate it to others. we attempt to reflect the image in our head. Here I used some of the same deconstruction tools and then altered the image within the eye to draw attention to the distortion that occurs in our understanding of what we see.
